Laws governing recall in Wisconsin say that an elected official must have served at least one year of the term for which he or she was most recently elected before he or she can be targeted for recall.
Scott Walker cannot face recall election until 2012.
Only 8 Republican Senators have served a year, and are vulnerable to recall.
Of the 8 vulnerable Republicans, four of these Senators come from solid Republican districts where they are very safe.
Six Senate Democrats are facing recall, and three come from vulnerable districts with a lot of Republican voters.
Republicans are focusing recall efforts on three Democrat Senators, and Democrats are focusing recall efforts on four Republican Senators.
Democrats need to flip three seats to take control of the Senate, but Republicans are countering to blunt the effort.
