Why is Russell Pearce banning Latino activists from the State Capitol? - Three Sonorans
Why is Russell Pearce banning Latino activists from the State Capitol? - Three Sonorans
Yesterday the Tucson Citizen’s Carlos Galindo was at the senate building in Arizona, with no actions or protests going on, just in attendance following the latest, and he was approached by two DPS officers that told him “Russell Pearce has banned you from the senate building forever…”
Today Sal Reza from Puente went to the building today to get permits for an event. He was also told he is not allowed to be there.
Why is Russell Pearce banning these Latino activists from their government’s buildings, and is this even legal? One would think there a First Amendment issue at play here, and there is something wrong going on in Arizona.
