Explosion rocks Moscow's Domodedovo Airport: At least 31 reported dead in suspected suicide bombing
A suicide bomber staged a massacre at Moscow's busiest airport Monday with a blast that killed more than two dozen people and wounded more than 100.
Blood and body parts littered a airport luggage area at Domodedovo Airport in the aftermath of the explosion as Russian rescue workers searched through the smoke for survivors amid the carnage.
Moscow's chief prosecutor called it a terrorist attack and suspicions immediately fell on Chechen rebels who have been waging a bloody independence campaign for several years.
Domodedovo was packed with travelers at 4:37 p.m. local time when an explosion ripped through the international baggage claim area, Russian media reported.
