Arizona city warns do not drink from toilets Reuters
(Reuters) - A Phoenix area community's new city hall comes with some odd features that are leaving workers flush with laughter.
Chandler city officials posted signs in the restrooms of the new $73 million, five-story building that tell people not to drink out of the urinals and toilets, which use recycled water.
Code regulations required the city about 20 miles southeast of Phoenix to post the signs or tint the water blue to flag the use of non-potable "gray water," city spokesman Craig Younger said.
The move in this prompted raised eyebrows and hilarity among city workers, including Mayor Boyd Dunn.
