Ariz. Highway Patrol Assn. warns would-be vigilantes - Stay out of the desert Phoenix News Arizona News azfamily.com Arizona News
PHOENIX -- The Arizona Highway Patrol Association (AHPA) has a warning for "desert vigilantes" who take it upon themselves to try and catch people who they believe are crossing the border illegally. Don't do it.
Javier Soto talked to Sgt. Jimmy Chavez, president of the AHPA.
"We believe these individuals that are 'searching' for undocumented persons feel they are assisting law enforcement," Chavez said in a news release. "However, it creates scenarios that endanger themselves and our officers. Law enforcement officers are trained to handle these situations, and we want the public to be safe."
A true patriot will not let a group of Illegal-lovers words stop them from taking up arms and protecting America from Illegal Invader criminals.
Ummm....what did they expect when they put signs in a National Park that advise American Citizens to not go beyond this point due to drug smugglers and illegal activity? This totally ticks me off! If this is such a dangerous place, why do we not have troops here cleaning this up? Until they do have someone policing the area, vigilante groups will lap this up as an open invitation.
Leave um out there, that keeps them off the streets of Phoenix.
